LIBRARY PROCEDURES

  • Students come to the library once a week with their class.  They may come at any time with a pass.
  • TK students hear a story and begin to learn book handling procedures
  • K students hear a story and check out 1 book in their teacher's name and the book stays at school
  • 1st-2nd grade students check out 1 book a week.  The teacher decides whether they may take the book home.  Lost or damaged books must be paid for before the end of the school year.  Students may not check out a new book if the book is not returned or paid for
  • 3rd-5th grade students may check out 2 books a week.  They may also check out additional books required for class assignments
  • Parents may create an account and check out books as well.
